Dear TVSA players, referees, families and the community of Temecula,
TVSA would like to send our thoughts to everyone in the community during these trying times as the COVID-19 virus has affected us all whether directly or indirectly. Please stay safe and take the necessary precautions to protect you and your loved ones.
Yesterday, the city of Temecula decided to continue the closure of all Community Services facilities, athletic venues and outdoor amenities through May 31, 2020. As a result of this new order, TVSA has decided to cancel the Spring season as well as all training, practices, referee events and team events. This decision was not taken lightly but the health of our athletes, families, referees and community at large is the main concern.
TVSA will refund all paid spring registrations within 14 days of this letter. Should you wish to donate your spring registration, TVSA will apply that amount, and match your donation dollar for dollar. All funds will be used to purchase N95 masks and equally distribute to Temecula Valley Hospital, Inland Valley Hospital and Rancho Springs Medical Center. With your help, TVSA will donate a minimum of 1000 N95 masks for doctors, nurses and other frontline professionals who are protecting our community every day. If you have any questions or wish to donate your spring fee, please send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will continue to evaluate the circumstances associated with COVID-19 and update our players, families, referees and community. Please continue to monitor the TVSA website, TVSA social media pages and email for the latest news and most of all, stay safe.
The TVSA Board of Directors
