TVSA will be hosting an entry Level 8 referee clinic on August 16th and 17th for anyone interested in becoming a referee, or upgrading from Level 9. This is for first time referees or anyone who has been a Level 9 referee or a Level 8 referee in the past and needs to attend the clinic again due to a lapse of a year or more in the time you last refereed games as a certified FIFA/USSF referee (2004 badge or before). Recertifications are on Sunday (8/17) from 8-5 as well.

The clinic will be from 8am - 5pm both days, so you will need to dress comfortably and bring a lunch as we will break at noon each day for an hour for lunch. Please bring a #2 pencil and paper. The location of this class is:
TVHS Classroom - #S-17 (park in West parking lot just off of Margarita Road by lower fields)

All TVSA Referees - Please Take Note

In order to keep games running smoothly, don't forget these very important points:

Be on time to each and every game (30 minutes early if possible)
Notify TVSA Referee Assignor of your availability each week
Check in with TVSA Board member each week to ensure games are covered
SLIDE TACKLING is allowed in the FALL season only
No alcohol, smoking, or dogs allowed at the field
Substitutions are at the quarters only (except for U18 games)
First team listed is home team and provides the game ball(s)
First referee listed is the Center Referee
If you are not scheduled, TVSA is offering $9 per game for U8 (until further notice)
Full 90 Headgear (padded headband) is recommended for U5, U6 and U8 (Optional for other ages)
All coaches are REQUIRED to have their coaching badge on their person while coaching (they may also have paperwork stating they have attended the required course and don't have their card yet)
